BLOG TAKEOVER: Bridal Gowns for Destination Weddings

The wedding dress….. one of the most important aspect to planning a wedding. A little girl not only dreams of her wedding day but as well as her bridal gown. When going on a destination wedding choosing a bridal gown could be more of a challenge to some brides. When doing a destination wedding brides have to ask questions such as; how will the dress get transferred? How to not damage the gown? How will hot/cold climates affect the comfortableness/ fabric of the gown? On top of all the typical questions a bride usually asks herself when searching for the right dress for example what dress is best for my body shape? What will go better with my wedding theme? Price range?

My experience as a bridal consultant taught me a lot about the bridal side of the wedding industry. I was able to learn what designers are known for certain looks, what dress type fits what body type the best, general estimates on alteration prices, and how to dress for certain (destination, theme) weddings.
