After planning your Travel and Wedding over the past hear it has been heart breaking knowing that everything has come to a halt and many Wedding Dreams shattered.
We want you to know that we are doing all possible to assist each one of you in this situation.
We appreciate your patience as we work through our priorities and endeavour to help provide correct and updated information to you. It has been extremely difficult in addition with the constant changes and updates. Also with having to reach the Tour Operators to make to gather information , while they handle priorities.
As you may know most Tour Operators are helping by offering our Wedding Groups an opportunity to Reschedule to another date. Tour Operator policies can vary slightly so this is meant to be in general terms as a guideline. Restrictions do apply :
Should the new date be at a higher cost you will be expected to pay the difference.
Should the price be any lower the price would remain the same
Some are charging a $100.00 per person administration fee to rebook. i.e. Sunwing Vacations
MSDW will waive any fee and do the transfer of funds and re- book the Travel Arrangements for you .
Should the Couple not wish to reschedule, they may be able to obtain a Partial Refund under the normal guidelines of that individual Tour Operator. No exceptions are ever made on this.
The Tour Operator implements around penalties of their Hoteliers and Airline and is dependent on how close you cancel to the departure date. The non refundable amounts can then be claimed through your Insurance.
We congratulate you who were diligent and took our advise and purchased Insurance so that you can now reap the benefits now. Once you have made the decision to cancel please send
us a written notification by email. Then contact Manulife Insurance to notify them of your cancellation and file your claim immediately.
For those who purchased from your own broker please notify us of your cancellation contact them immediately and advise cancellation file claim.
For those who did not purchase Insurance, you will need to notify us immediately in writing of any cancellations. We will then verify cancellation penalties with your Tour Operator at that time and request on your behalf any applicable refundable amounts.
Those who did not purchase insurance my take advantage of the “Future Travel Credit” given by many of the Tour Operators in Lieu of the situation at hand. Typically good for one year from current return date of travel. There may or may not be an administration fee due of $100.00 per person, depending on the Tour Operator. Restrictions may apply. Should you wish to receive this let us. MSDW will assist to rebook and manage your booking at no fee.
MSDW is assisting with Refunds for Wedding Deposits made to the Resorts. We are requesting Refunds on your behalf. Possible refunds are subject to the individual Resort.
